What a waste of money! What it has delivered is not going to improve the high street, as increased footfall may be offset by the fact that we are doing nothing to encourage companies to open shops in Aylesbury.
I do not disagree about the waste of money. This project was one inherited from the Aylesbury Vale garden town strategy and used money from a central government fund.
I would have preferred the circa £20 million that was spent on the lower high street building purchases and Pavilion Quarter to have been spent on something else.
